Buyer Reviews

I am pleased with this item and the price. I set the camera, lights, and audio to turn on/record when motion was detected except for daytime when I set it for only the camera and audio to turn on/record. It's really great obtaining the solutions of the completely different settings. It was somewhat hassle-free to assemble, program, and install. Thinking about I'm a 50-year old mother of 3, I had no difficulty installing it in location of the flood light over our garage. I like the way you can position the lights and the motion sensor/camera to just about any position you want. It was also simple to remove the memory card, an allen wrench is supplied to open and close the cover, and of course a ladder was vital since I installed it above the garage. The videos were crystal clear when I viewed them on the pc. I don't know but if the memory card (2gb) that comes with it will have sufficient space, but so far so decent.

Wow, I don't think how superior this product has been for the price tag. It came about a week ago and I installed it appropriate away. For the value, you can not beat it. It price about twice as significantly as a motion light with no a camera. The photos are extremely great and the light comes on at evening when there is a motion as well.
It was just a tiny confusing to set it up, but not also undesirable. The mounting plate would not fit my current junction box. All I necessary to do is reduce some of the plastic away from the mounting holes and that challenge was solved. I have tried single shot, burst and video. I cannot make a decision between the burst and the video, each are great. I downloaded the images straight from the camera onto my laptop with the supplied cable. It could not have been easier. I didn't want to eliminate the SD card since the instructions stated I had to shut off the energy to do so. Shutting off the power signifies that you have to reset the date, time etc... I put in a new 1GB SD card that I had which could possibly fill up in two weeks with all the instances somebody walks by it.
No challenge with that, it must just put the new images in the spots exactly where the oldest ones had been. If there was a burglary we would check the card before the images or videos had been replaced. A note about SD cards, they are now promoting a lot of SDHC card. They don't perform in quite a few products that demand SD only. I am not sure if that is the situation with the Smartguard Security Lighting Camera, just use a standard SD to be sure.
